How to add a Lightsaber to Facebook
To celebrate this week’s launch of Star Wars: The Force Awakens Facebook is letting you add a Lightsaber to your profile picture. You can choose between red and blue, pledging your allegiance to the Dark or Light Side of the Force. Step 1. Log into your Facebook profile, then click here to Show your game face.
Step 2. Switch the drop-down from Argentine Primera Division to Star Wars, then click on one of the two Star Wars icons below to toggle between red and blue Lightsabers. Step 3. Use the slider below your profile picture to adjust its size to fit, or if you prefer click Change picture below to instead set a different photo as your profile image. If you manage other Facebook pages you can also add a Lightsaber to these by selecting a page from the drop-down next to the ‘Use as Profile picture’ button.
Step 5. Facebook lets you choose how long you want to use the Lightsaber profile picture. Click the drop-down menu next to ‘Switch back to previous profile picture in’ and select from either 1 hour, 1 day, 1 week or Never.
