NordVPN and PureVPN are two of the best services on the market right now, and each company is offering a major discount when you sign up for a multiple year subscription.
NordVPN deal
NordVPN, one of our favourites and #1 in our round up of the best VPNs, currently has 75% off its usual price. The offer ends today and is on the 3-year subscription plan, typically US$430.20 (around £326.76) but now reduced to $107.55 (around £81.69). This works out to $2.99 (or £2.27) per month, saving you roughly $322 (around £244).
PureVPN deal
PureVPN is in the top 5 of our best VPN list at #4, and it currently has 74% off its 2-year subscription. This brings the monthly rate to $2.88 (or £2.19) per month, saving you $193.68 (around £147.11) compared to paying a month at a time. PureVPN also has a ” secret offer” with 82% off a 3-year plan that reduces the monthly rate to $1.92 (£1.46), saving you $325 (around £247).
NordVPN vs PureVPN: What’s the difference?
In all you are saving more on a 3-year plan from PureVPN, but it’s worth weighing the strengths of each provider to see how it suits your needs. NordVPN is simple and intuitive to use, while offering solid, advanced security features. Its SmartPlay tool also lets you connect to the best server for the type of content you want to access, like Netflix US for example (though remember doing so is against Netflix US’s terms and agreements). In our review, we found Nord worked across every streaming service we tried including Netflix, BBC iPlayer and Hulu. It works in China and the Middle East too. Read our full review here. PureVPN, on the other hand, is fast, inexpensive, and works in over 141 countries – which is the broadest range of all the major VPN services. PureVPN doesn’t log your original IP address either and keeps your browsing data out of the surveillance of the “14 eyes” group of countries that share data internally. Another benefit is that the company owns and operates its own networks instead of renting servers form other companies, further securing your information. See our full review here. Though it’s legal in most places, whichever VPN you choose, be sure to check that your use doesn’t violate any national laws. We’ve also rounded up other VPN deals of the month here.
