First up, Realme unveiled the Realme GT flagship in China. With a Snapdragon 888, 120Hz display, and 65W fast charging it’s a bit of a speed freak – with the racing stripe to prove it. It is also unbelievably affordable at a price that’s equivalent to just £310/$430. Not to be outdone, Nubia also launched the Red Magic 6 and 6 Pro gaming phones in China – with a global launch to follow – with a world-first 165Hz refresh rate display. Naturally it’s also powered by the 888, and the 6 Pro goes up to a ludicrous 120W charging. At the less extreme end of the spectrum, Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 10 series, with four phones for Europe and three for India – and just to keep things confusing, the names and specs don’t match between the different markets. Guess it’s time for another Fast Charge rant about phone names.
